    Tell us your trades and coverage area, then complete a quick background check and identity verification. Most applications are reviewed within a few days.

    Get Chosen

    Set your prices, your availability and the zones you cover. Customers compare pros and choose you — you review each request and accept the ones you want.

    Get Paid

    Complete the work, upload before/after photos, and your share lands in your balance — free weekly payouts, or instant cash-out anytime for a 2% fee (minimum $1.99, shown before you confirm). No invoicing, no chasing checks.

Your rate, your call

You set your rate. Customers choose you.

For every service you offer, you set your own rate. That rate is the price the customer pays. NorTech does not set, suggest or recommend a price: every number on your menu is yours. The customer sees your price before they book, and it is locked once they do.

One platform access fee

The platform access fee is 20% of the labor price on every job. It pays for using the platform: customers finding you, secure payment, claims handling, support and the tools in your app. It is the same for everyone, with no side deals. On licensed jobs of $1,000 or more it drops to 15%.

You see your pay first

Your screen shows what the customer pays and what you keep before you save a rate. Nothing is hidden and nothing changes after the job is booked.

Pick your categories

Choose the kinds of work you take, from repairs and painting to roofing, concrete, electrical and more. Customers can book you for every service in your categories.

Change it any time

A new rate applies to your next booking. A job already booked keeps the rate it was booked at, even while you are on site.

Discounts are yours to run

You choose any discount you want to offer, such as a first-job or repeat-customer percentage, and you fund it. NorTech takes its share of the price the customer actually pays, so NorTech never takes a discount out of your pay.

Example: you set $150 for a job. The customer pays $150. The platform access fee is $30. You keep $120.

Background check
A clean, current background check is required before your first job.

You bring and maintain your own tools and basic supplies — clients are never asked to provide equipment.
Your own vehicle
Reliable transportation to reach jobs across your chosen zones.
Proof of identity
Valid government-issued ID for identity verification.
W-9 on file
You are paid as an independent contractor (1099) — a completed W-9 is required.

No. There is no minimum. Work as much or as little as you choose — your availability is entirely up to you.

A passed background check, your own tools and reliable vehicle, valid proof of identity, and a completed W-9. Once approved, you can start accepting jobs in your zones. Companies also provide a business license and a certificate of insurance.

Yes. A company applies once and the owner invites each crew member from the NorTech provider app. Jobs come to the company: the owner (or an office manager the owner adds) chooses which crew member does each job, and the company is paid. Crew members do not see the company's job requests or what the company is paid. Each crew member completes a short onboarding with ID, a background check and a crew agreement, and the company's insurance and license cover them. There is a one-time enrollment fee per crew member and no monthly charge during launch.

Yes. Add your California contractor license during onboarding. Once NorTech verifies it, customers can book you for jobs that legally require your license class, alongside regular jobs.
