Get matched with homeowners who need your trade

No. Working a lead is completely independent — you set your own prices, schedule, and terms directly with the customer. NorTech's only role is connecting you with the request.

It varies by service and how competitive you want to be — you control your own price ceiling. If you browse and contact a lead yourself, reaching out is free and you only pay once the customer replies. If you've turned on auto-match, matching leads charge instantly instead — that's the tradeoff for not having to browse. Either way, there's no subscription or monthly fee.

The same background check, proof of identity, and W-9 every NorTech provider completes — plus ID verification and a valid Certificate of Insurance before you can contact your first lead.

Yes, anytime. Turn on direct booking from your provider dashboard once you're approved — no second application needed.

Not for a lead you contacted yourself — you're never charged unless the customer actually replies to your message, so if they never respond, it cost you nothing. (Auto-matched leads are charged up front instead, since that's an instant, hands-free match you opted into.) Once you are charged, real, verifiable issues still qualify for credit: duplicate lead, wrong ZIP/area, wrong service, or invalid contact info. File a dispute right from the lead in your dashboard and NorTech support reviews it personally.

No — approved disputes credit your NorTech lead balance, which applies automatically to your next charge. That's a store-credit model, not a refund to your original payment method. Lead credit never expires. We decide a dispute within two business days, and if we are late the credit is added automatically after four days. Some disputes are credited at once, such as a phone number that cannot ring or the same request sent twice, and every denial comes with a written reason.
