A storefront, an office park or an HOA common area needs lights up and down on a fixed date and often at a scale a single-home crew doesn't handle. Look for pros whose menu covers larger footage and commercial access, and share the property manager's schedule and any HOA design rules when you book, so the pro can plan the install around them. Size does not change who can do it: hanging plug-in holiday lights is not contractor work, so no contractor license is needed at any price. A new outdoor outlet or anything hardwired is a separate electrical job.

Most pros who list this service bring their own commercial-grade lights, clips and timers, and many take them back after the season, so there is nothing to store. If you already own lights, pick a pro whose menu installs customer lights. The menu says which.

Whatever the pro's menu says: usually the visit and the first stretch of roofline, then more footage, trees and bushes wrapped, a smart controller, and the takedown as separate lines the pro prices. You see the total for your home before you book, and the price is the pro's own.

Most installs run from mid-November into early December, and takedown happens in January. You pick the install time from the pro's calendar; the takedown is booked with the same pro, at the price on their menu.

File it from your NorTech account and it goes to the pro who installed the display. They answer within 72 hours with a return visit or a refund offer. Whether a mid-season visit is free depends on their warranty and on any visits their price included; theft, vandalism and storm debris are usually not covered by an install warranty.

Book the same pro again next season and tell them you want the same look. Nothing renews or charges on its own: each season is a new booking at the pro's price that year.
