Licensed Plumber in Los Altos Hills, CA

Large estate homes in Los Altos Hills often have long supply runs, multiple water heaters and gas appliances, so plumbing work here tends to involve gas and permits. Los Altos Hills homeowners who need a licensed plumber can book on NorTech only an independent contractor whose California C-36 license has been checked against the state record, never someone who is still working toward one.

California class C-36: Plumbing Contractor

California plumbing contractors hold a C-36 license. Any license number can be looked up on the state licensing board website, and we check status and expiry before a contractor can take licensed plumbing work.

Smaller jobs and bigger jobs

Everyday plumbing repairs, such as a dripping tap, a running toilet or a clogged drain, are handled as smaller jobs under the California handyman exemption: under $1,000 in total, with no permit needed. Gas, sewer, main-line and permitted work always goes to a licensed plumber.
